Is Jesus God?

Who is Jesus! Is Jesus God?

     This question has been trending for years, many scholars and readers has raised questions relating to this topic, just like when Jesus asked his disciples this same question. So many discussions has gone through, articles, notes and so on, but what do bible really say about him?

    

       In Matt 16:13, Jesus asked his disciples "who do people say the son if man (Jesus) is"? (NIV). So many answers were given by the disciples, some say he is John the Baptist, some say he is Elias, Jeremiah and so on, just like what you call him today.

Now let's now discuss this according to the Bible.

In John 1:1. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.
       

        Looking at this statement, the verse is describing somebody there called the 'word" he said that person called "word" was with God and that person is God.

Now who is the "WORD"? Verse 14 of that jhn 1 says; And the Word was made flesh, meaning that the word was turn to be a man like you and I, and dwelt among us, ( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten son of the father) John 3:16, matt 3:17, full of grace and truth, thus saying that Jesus is the word that was with God, meaning that Jesus is God.

        

        In John 10:30 Jesus testified to this fact that he and His father are one, making us to realise that no one can separate them.

John 1:3 reffer to this by saying......through him all things were made, without him nothing was made, Gen 1 says in the beginning God created heaven and heart ...... Which simply means Jesus created all things including you and I

It will be ridiculous to refer Jesus as a small boy, an angel, a normal man etc, John 5:23 said if you do not honour the son, you do not honour the Father that sent him. Know as from today that Jesus Christ is God, never you join them to belittled him again, he is great, awesome, the giver if live, the only way accept him as your personal lord and saviour and be saved.
