Standing Firm In Christ

PREAMBLE
I bless God for another opportunity enjoyed to sharing his word today, may his name be glorified.

INTRODUCTION:
          Today I shall be discussing with you a topic, "STANDING FIRM IN CHRIST JESUS".
Before a man could be enjoined to stand firm in something, he would have knew some things about that thing, he would have journey with that thing up to an extent, he would have understand some fact about that thing.

        As a Christian, as someone that know Christ, as someone that have commune with him, you have pledge your oath of allegiance for him, you have dedicate your life and all for him, then, you are that person God is using me to discussed this with you. Thus, this word is for you. God is talking to us to stand firm in him, how we should position ourselves in him, how we should keep our salvation, not minding the so call men of God whom has missed their way on the path of righteousness, those that have turned the grace of God for business purposes, enterprising the church of God for the salvation of mankind, those that their belly is their God according to Jude 1. I pray God in his infinite mercy will teach us to stand firm in him. Amen

Who are the Christians?
      1. When we are talking about the Christians, we talk about those that have been saved, those that have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ Rev 5:9, those that are the doer of the the word and not the hearer alone, those that have been established in the word of God, those are the Christians, not those that goes to church alone, not those that fellowship so as as to get connected to people, not our political Christians of nowadays, even there are political pastors that always preach about the government of the day, not those that only seek miracles and so on. So which one are you? Are you truly a Christian or the other ones (Christian on form).

          2. Christians are those that has the Christlike behavior. Act 11:26. Those that always carries the mark of christ around, both at home, at work place, at church and so on. Those that have commune with Christ and his like attitude.

       3. Those that are filled by the holy spirit of God, Rom 8:14-16. You can never be a member of a house when you don't have their blood flowing in your body, do also you can not be of Christ when you don't have the spirit of God.

To keep yourself in Christ, there are some things you must do.
        1. You need to be watchful:
There are some people that call themselves men of God but that full of evil, deceit, covetous, those that God has spell doom upon, you must be mindful of those people. Jude 1:4-16 those that has turned the grace of God to business.

       2. Beware of false prophet and prophecies: 2pet 2:1-18. Don't allow anybody to prophecy nonsense into your live, reject and revoke any wrong and incorrect prophecies immediately, tell it to God that it is not your portion, don't be carried away by the miracles and their magic, they ate just to get you.

        3. Look for a Bible believing church and seek the true word of God: The bible says seek for the kingdom of God....... So let the Bible be your part. Psm 119:105 meditate in it always.

      4. Preach the word: Mk 16-15. The only assignment given to us by Christ Jesus is to go ye and preach. As you go on on your day to day activities, you must preach the word, as you teach others it sticks to your heart, even when you ought to fall, you will remember the word and you will stand on to your feet and put devil to shame.

Things you must do.
       Never try yo join them. Never you try to be like the unbelievers, tell them about Christ, and let them know the danger of not having Christ. The doom that is coming upon them.

        Never you seek miracle than the salvation of your soul. Note this: miracles are for the unbelievers, that is why Jesus said "if this people do not see signs and wonders, they will believe" meaning that until they see, they can never believe but, believers are to work miracles through the miracle worker l, that was why Jesus said; these signs that be with h the believers....... So stop seeking miracles all around, seek the salvation of your soul first and if you have been saved, then exploit your Bible and know what is useful for your life and your Christian life also.

Your Reward:
          There are many rewards from God but the one I love most is in Rev 2:7. To whom that overcome I will give the right to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God. That was what man missed in the beginning. Stand firm and it shall be well with you. Amen.
