THE KINGDOM PART 1

           ........seek ye first the kingdom of God..........matt 6:33 (KJV)

     When we talk about a "kingdom", there are things we should understand, things we should set our mind at, things we should know about a kingdom. If a man will live successfully in a kingdom he must understand and know too well about the kingdom, he should know about their do's and don'ts, the blessing and the taboo of the kingdom.

             The characteristics of a kingdom.
1) THE THRONE: The throne is a place of authority, a place where commands, decree comes from. A throne define a kingdom, if there is no throne, there exist no kingdom. It is the most important character of a kingdom. The person that sit on the throne is called the " KING ". Thus a kingdom is the king+dom (domain).

2) THE KING: From the word "kingdom", the word king was formed. A king is the ruler of a kingdom. He is the Paramount ruler of a domain, he is the one that decree one thing in the domain, he is the authority that speaks, that no one dare change it. The Yoruba refer them as the second to god.

3). THE CHIEFS: These set of people are those that help the king in making and taking decisions in a kingdom settings. They sometime stands as the representative of the king where the king can not be physically present, they took some little decisions on behalf of the king.

4) THE INHABITANTS: These are the people that is been govern by the king in the kingdom. A king can not reign over the trees of the forest, he can not reign over the fishes in the ocean, neither can he reign over the wild animals in the bush, but a king reign over a set of people, people of common interest, culture and values, they will be of same language, dialect and so on.

5) THE BOUNDARY: A kingdom will have a land Mass and boundaries, your authority as a king must have an end place, that is the " Dom" of the kingdom applies (the domain). That is where your laws, your commands, your wishes, your plans stops, it can not go beyond that place.

6) TREASURES: These are things that bring money to a kingdom, so as to have a better living. God has deposited so many mineral and natural resources in our different kingdom, some he endowed with oil, some with iron ore and so on. He did these so as make the world a global village. A Kingdom can not have it all, but at least they van have one.

7) LAW, SECURITY AND ORDER: A kingdom must have a law that binds them, they must have a taboo, ritual rites, security men they serves as guard, be it to the palace, or their treasure, or to the people.
